From Kris - I don't know why it took me so long to figure out how high speed flash sync works, but I guess I'm just slow. It took over two years of researching and tinkering before I could pull it off consistently. The workshop on the 21st is just me trying to pass on what I know so maybe someone else doesn't have to go through what I did. This is just a little hands-on workshop where we will be working together, to make you capable of pulling off this game-changing setting. My images took a HUGE turn for the better after I figured it out, and yours will too.
Here are two images taken in the exact same location using two different lighting settings - one natural and one HSS. Get a ton of variety just by swapping out your lighting patterns! More HSS photos added below showing the versatility.
