Attendees will have a chance to photograph professional models while learning Niah’s approach to color and creative lighting using Westcott gear, then follow as she takes those images into the editing process to learn how to make colors pop, change colors in post, and create rich, vibrant images while maintaining natural skin tones.

About Makayla Jade Harris

Makayla Jade Harris is the founder and CEO of ASET, the industry’s leading virtual sales agency for photographers. What began as a personal mission to create lasting heirlooms for her own family has evolved into a company that now partners with studios worldwide, transforming how photographers sell, serve, and scale through powerful post-session experiences.

A former wedding photographer turned sales strategist, Makayla has helped hundreds of creatives increase their revenue through proven consultative selling methods, high-end client experience design, and emotionally-driven product presentation. She’s known for cutting through the fluff, teaching real strategies that work, and helping photographers break through income ceilings by focusing on connection, value, and intentional business design.

Makayla has served on the Board of Directors for the Professional Photographers of America (PPA) for seven years and currently serves as President, playing an active role in shaping the future of the photography industry.

She’s been recognized with awards like 40 Under 40 and Women on the Rise, and has spoken on stages for Imaging USA, WPPI, Shutterfest, Lens & Light, and more. Whether she’s training sales teams, designing curriculum, or helping creatives reclaim their time and profit, Makayla brings a blend of heart, hustle, and hard-earned wisdom to every room she steps into.

About Niah Aldrich

Niah Aldrich is a Sony portrait photographer and Westcott Lighting ambassador based in Kansas City, MO. She is known for her bold use of color, creative lighting, and fashion-inspired portraiture. Her work blends strong visual storytelling with vibrant styling and approachable direction.

She travels the country teaching workshops that break down lighting in a fun, real-world way, whether you’re just getting started or looking to level up your creative shoots. Expect energy, color, and hands-on learning with Sony's top photography gear and Westcott lighting.
